Reports to: General Manager

Overview: The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager to ensure that day to day business operations run smoothly. The AGM will monitor schedules, order merchandise/supplies and assist the general manager with recruiting, training, planning and help maintain the company culture. The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager and key role is to help manage daily operations by assisting both FOH & BOH managers with their job duties. The AGM reports back to the GM with crucial information regarding insight on the day to day operations of the team. It is the Assistant General Manager’s duty to learn all aspects of the GM’s job as well as the following

-Provide the GM with operational information & insight.
-Support in the recruiting and hiring of team members.
-Contribute to plans for the organization’s progress and growth.
-Assist the General manager schedules, team engagement and supply inventories.
-Work with FOH and BOH management teams on processes & procedures.
-Responsible for handling guest complaints and guest issues.

The Salaried Manager position is responsible for overseeing daily operations and making sure each guest receives a friendly personalized
experience with great food in a clean, inviting environment. The Manager’s role also completes various shifts to assist the leadership team with achieving sales, guest engagement and profitability goals while managing team members in a controlled atmosphere with high team morale. Some roles of the manager position include but are not limited to the following:

-Work with leadership to coordinate operations, implement the organization’s strategy and ensure the team sticks to a schedule to attract guests.
-Help hire & train team members by conducting interviews & follow training programs.
-Support ongoing training & development for the team.

Overview: The Assistant Operations Manager helps control and maintain all operational aspects of the business. The Assistant Operations manager is responsible for building strong, loyal teams through the use of training / development techniques and strategies. This includes setting goals, development plans and following up on progress. Key roles include execution of flawless operations, creating & upholding standards and processes, maximizing financial performance, building relationships within the community and growing the Adventure Crossing USA Brand. The A.O.M will work closely with the Director of events & Director of Food and Beverage to coordinate Flawless events that drive extensive, sustainable growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

-Staffing: Hiring platforms setup & Mgmt
-Training & Development of Mgmt and Team (Develop training programs/Manuals/
Methods, Hold training sessions/classes, and create on-going development
Processes. Setup of Adventure Golf standards & Systems.
-Work with HR to coordinate Onboarding/Training/Development.
-Drive employee engagement: Manage contests, reward & recognition programs,
And team morale objectives.
-Work with the D.O.O & Food & Bev director to create Staffing plans for each
Dept. Review Weekly while looking at Labor Costs.
-Approval of Mgmt and Team Schedules to ensure proper Staffing & Execution.
-Weekly Guest Satisfaction review.
-Work with Directors to forecast & control sales & expenses. P&L Review Wkly.
-Oversee Cost areas of all revenue streams. (Maximize Performance).
-Work with Executive Chef (Where needed)on Purchasing/Costs/Vendor selection.

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for coordinating all phases of restaurant & bar operations/group meeting/banquet functions held in the location; coordinate these activities on a daily basis; assist clients in program planning and menu selection, and prepare location for all menus offered to customers.

As an overview:

  • Overseeing the restaurants’ financial performance, including tracking sales data and analyzing profit margins
  • Hiring and managing a staff of waiters, waitresses, bartenders, and other employees who serve customers directly
  • Ensuring that food preparation and sanitation standards are being met by all staff members
  • Managing an inventory of food, beverage, and supplies to ensure that restaurants have adequate supplies for service
  • Monitoring the quality of customer service to ensure that all staff members are providing excellent service to guests
  • Managing catering operations for special events such as weddings or corporate dinners
  • Ensuring that all dining facilities are well maintained to meet health codes and other requirements

  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability.
  • Timely analysis of Food & Beverage Prices in relation to competition.
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing activities.
  • Telemarketing to previous clients to inquire about possible future bookings.
  • Development and maintenance of all department control procedures.
  • Handle all Food & Beverage inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day.
  • To co-ordinate with Event staff, for all large group meeting/banquet planners their specific group requirements with the services & facilities offered. This includes proposals, contracts, estimated and actual function statements. With banquet or conferences, the Chef is to be included in food related discussions.
  • To confirm all details relative to group functions with meeting/banquet planners.
  • Supervision of daily paper flow including Proposals, and Function Contracts for events, where assistance with food & beverage is needed.
  • Completion of monthly forecast.
  • Coordination, attendance and participation at monthly (or more frequent) F & B meeting and Department Head meeting.
  • To assist in menu planning and pricing.
  • Development and maintenance of department manual.
  • Supervision of weekly payroll input for all restaurant and bar employees.
  • Be available to Location Staff at all times in case of emergency.
  • Participation in Manager on Duty shifts as required, in rotation.
  • Assure bar inventory for functions, including opening and closing inventories, accurate bar summaries and cash deposits are prepared.

  • Assure the completion of weekly schedule and shift duties while maintaining a labor cost below the maximum of 20%.

  • Liaise on an on-going basis with the Event/Sales Department to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
  • Establish a rapport with groups to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Minimize number of customer complaints.
  • Ensure a professional attitude and proper business attire when on property, ready to meet or service a client at any time.
  • Staff professional attitude and proper meeting Company appearance and uniform standards.

  • Proper hiring procedures followed. For management positions, either the HR Manager, Ownership or the General Manager must join the Director of Food & Beverage for all interviews. For line personnel, the Director of Food & Beverage must be present with the Chef.
  • Department meeting being held monthly. General Manager, Ownership & pertinent staff to be notified with as much notice as possible.
  • Responsible for overseeing all scheduling within the department.
  • Participation towards overall Location Maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Overall maintenance of the operation at a level in keeping with the standards prescribed.
  • Report any deficiencies in equipment and facilities.
